S.H.E. Promotes Their Album 'Play' Ostensibly With Their Mothers

During their Mother's Day show promoting their new album Play last Sunday, S.H.E. invited their moms onstage and basically preened before the cameras. My question is, why do these girls look so hot and their mothers don't? Were they all adopted?
